Our Team

  • Patrick Flynn LL.B,Solicitor – Client Services Coordinator:

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia Pat commenced his legal practice career in 1988 following completion of a Bachelor of Laws degree at the Queensland University of Technology.  Four years as an employed lawyer and a 9 year stint in private (litigation & property) practice followed before Pat was lured to the sunny shores of Seychelles in June 2001 to take on the role of Operations Director with what is now Seychelles largest Trust Company.

From mid-2005 to May 2011 (prior to its being acquired by a leading International Tax Consulting Firm) Pat was MD of one of Seychelles leading Company Formation Agents Professional Offshore Ltd which was responsible for revolutionizing the way that IBCs are manufactured (Pat/POL created a world first automated company production system + an order-direct-from-the registry online ordering system for resellers which is still in use today). Additionally as head of the Seychelles Practitioner’s Association (“SAOPRA”)’s Legislative Review Committee from 2009 to 2011 Pat was part of a consultative team which helped draft key new Offshore Legislation including new IBC and Trust laws + Seychelles cutting edge Mutual Fund and Private Interest Foundation Laws.

Pat was a key figure in the founding of OCI whereat he is responsible for overseeing all private client sales and service inquiries. A licensed/qualified Lawyer still (and part-time professional musician) when not at his desk Pat can usually be found at home helping to raise 4 school aged children (or in the sea trying to convince himself he can still surf!)

  • Daniel Garvey B Econ. Director:

Like Pat Dan was born and raised in Brisbane Australia where, in the late 80s he graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Economics degree. For most of the 90s Dan worked in Australia in the Banking and Private investment field (whilst undertaking post-graduate studies with the Securities Institute of Australia – a national professional body representing people engaged in investment and securities markets) before a growing interest in Asia led him in 2002 to the Chengdu area of China to chance his arm in business. Fluent in Swedish, Mandarin Chinese and English – and a specialist in cross border structuring and finance – Dan is OCI’s Managing Director and key operative in the Asian (in particular, Chinese) markets. A one time professional rugby coach when not immersed in the vagaries of International Business Dan can usually be found either at the nearest tennis/golf club or at the local watching his beloved Wallabies or Queensland Reds do battle.

  • Alexandra Kment, BEd. Sales Consultant:

A native of Vienna, Austria tri-lingual (German/English/French) Alexandra graduated from University in 1996 with an Honours Degree in Education before undertaking post-graduate studies (from 2003 to 2005) in Financial Management with the UK’s ACA. • Madhavi Senanayake BSc, Accounting & Banking Services Manager:

The latest addition to the OCI Professional team Madhavi was recruited to help oversee the firm’s rapidly developing Accounting department.

An expatriate Sri Lankan Madhavi was born and raised in the hills of her native land where following school she studied for an Accounting degree at Sri Lanka’s University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Following a period with an Accounting firm, and after completing post degree professional qualifications, (which saw her rise to the ranks of a Chartered Accountant) Madhavi worked as Senior Accountant for one of Sri Lanka’s largest Construction Companies before moving in 2008 to Seychelles with her husband to take up a contract to work with the 5 Star Meridian Hotel Group.

Madhavi’s role at OCI includes managing both the firm’s and clients’ day to day offshore accounting and financial management needs.

A dedicated family person, when not playing with numbers, Madhavi loves nothing more than pottering around at home in the company of her beloved husband or catching a good movie (or a game of cricket) on the tube.
