How To Order Your Offshore Company

An Offshore company can be set up for you quickly and easily.

In essence all you need to do is complete and submit an order and send us proof of your identity and your residential address.

Setting up an Offshore Company is a bit like building a house. You have to create your company from the ground up.  Below we’ve set out a simple path for you to follow. If you’ve any questions or would like some guidance in terms of how best to structure your Offshore Company please Contact Us.

Where to Incorporate

First thing you’ll need to decide is where you want your Offshore Company incorporated. Much will depend on what the company is to be used for. If your IBC is just to be used for holding assets then a privacy haven like Seychelles or Belize or British Virgin Islands might suffice. If however the company is to own an active trading business (especially one that does business in the bigger financial centres such as the UK, the EU or the USA) then a more sophisticated kind of Offshore Company might be called for (eg a Hong Kong, Cyprus or USA LLC company). If you’re not sure where you should incorporate please Contact Us for guidance.

Company name

Once you’ve decided on where to incorporate next up you’ll need to settle on a name for your Offshore Company.

You’d be surprised how many names are already taken so what we would suggest is you give us 3 possible names for your company and we’ll check (for free) to see which of them (if any) is available in your preferred incorporation centre.

Note Company names containing certain “sensitive” words will often not be accepted by the Offshore Company registry. Such words typically include “Assurance”, “Bank”, “Building Society”, “Chamber of Commerce”, “Chartered”, “University”, “Pharmacy”, “Cooperative”, “Imperial”, “Forex”, “Insurance”, “Municipal”, “Trust”, “Foundation”,or any other word that, suggests the patronage of or any connection with the country (or the Government of the country) of incorporation. Nor will names containing profane or offensive phrases be accepted in most Offshore Company centres.

If there’s a particular name you’d like to go with but you’re not sure if it will be accepted please Contact Us for guidance.

Company Officers

Next up you will need to tell us who the Director/s and Shareholder/s (and, if required, Company Secretary) of your Company will be.

Nominate your Directors

You can either direct the company yourself or for greater privacy (and/or for tax minimisation reasons) you may prefer to use our Nominee Services.

Nominate your Shareholders

You can either hold the shares yourself or for greater privacy (and/or for tax minimisation reasons) you may prefer to use our Nominee Services.

Choose a Company Secretary

In Most Offshore Company centres it’s not compulsory to appoint a Company Secretary. If you want to appoint a Company Secretary you can either supply your own appointee or for greater privacy (and/or for tax minimisation reasons) you may prefer to use our Nominee Services.

If you’re not sure about whether to engage Nominees or not please Contact Us for guidance.
